South & East Auckland Coordinator
My name is Christy Traynor and I am Mum to my daughter Lilly Jane. I have a Bachelor of Education ECE with Full Registration and First Aid Certificate. I have been working in Early Childhood for 10 years. My last teaching position was with the Auckland Kindergarten Association at Botany Downs Kindergarten. During this time I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading teachers, developing the kindergarten into a centre of innovation in Technology.
I decided to become a Coordinator in home based childcare after working part time as a Coordinator support for Nestlings. Although new to home-based care, I bring with me a strong understanding of curriculum and current theory.

Central & West Coordinator
Sue Bowers: I have been working in the home based care sector for the last twelve years and hold a Degree in ECE. Alongside working as your Nestlings coordinator, I am also working within Early Learning Auckland Network. I know West and Central Auckland very well, having lived here most of my life and have predominantly had my home based teaching roles in the West. Familiar with local ECE sessions such as playgroups, music, etc and enjoy keeping up to date with local news and events and currently facilitate a monthly 'Playdays', community Playgroup. I bring a strong knowledge of Home based curriculum that really delivers essential learning opportunities that are age appropriate and environmentally exclusive to the Home Based setting.

Manager and Auckland Wide Coordinator
My name is Kiryth Reddish and I am Mum to my son Cooper and daughter Holly. I have a Bachelor Of Education ECE with Full registration and first aid certificate. I have been working in Early Childhood for 25 years. My last teaching position was with the Auckland Kindergarten Association. I have also had the opportunity to work manage and supervise early childhood day care centre’s for 15 years. Prior to Childcare centre work and management I had the opportunity to work directly with special needs children at Mt Richmond special school and enjoyed working as a teacher overseas.
I decided to become a Coordinator in Home-Based Childcare after becoming a mum to little Holly, with the belief that she did not have the personality for day care. I looked around and discovered the advantages of home-based care. Although new to home based care I bring with me the knowledge of working in such a vast array of teaching environments. Information you can only get from working alongside some of the great teachers early childhood has to offer.
I look forward to sharing that knowledge with all Nestlings Educators and families.
